This may sound like a strange request, but have you ever found yourself in front of your TV, either on the couch or in bed, only to have the desire to completely mute the screen while still listening to the audio? Yes, I understand that you can go into the video settings and turn down the brightness and other video settings, but wouldn’t it be great if, beside the audio mute button, there was a button to mute the display? This is what I want!
It may not be used all that often, but there are probably a dozen buttons on any given remote that most people would use less often than display mute. I encourage anyone wanting to join my quest to share their thoughts in the comments below!
